Sagi Baleli

 

Sagi was born in Hod Hasharon in 1996. He danced at Studio LIFE in 2008-2014, specializing mainly in jazz dance that he also currently teaches at the school and at Mid-Bar – the graduate classes of the Kamea Dance Company.

Sagi is an outstanding graduate of the Dancer Training Program offered at Bikurey Haitim Center in Tel Aviv under the direction of Ofir Dagan and Naomi Perlov.  In 2014-2016 during his studies, he participated in dance projects in Israel and abroad.

Sagi served in the IDF in 2015-2018 as an "outstanding dancer".

He joined the Kamea Dance Company 2016 where he is currently a senior dancer.

He has also been teaching at Bat Dor Beer Sheva since 2017.

Sagi is also a certified instructor of Pilates mat and the PBT method. He has a teaching degree from the Faculty of Dance at the Seminar Hakibutzim College in Tel Aviv (holds a bachelor’s degree in dance).

Sagi believes that "as long as you are doing something you love, it is important to smile and carry on even if times are tough, because a smile creates reality."
